WOW!  What a coincidence!  I just started reading "Hello Darkness" by Sandra Brown and I am liking it pretty well so far.....very suspenseful!

Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors.  I like the suspense.

Do people really go camping in this kind of weather?  I can't even imagine.  LOL

Hi Monica and everyone.
Just another typical day for me. I am waiting for my PCP to call with the numbers to see how far down my Thyroid Hormone is so they can go forward with the treatment. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 2 weeks ago and out came my whole Thyroid. They still arent sure if it is in the nodules that they removed they removed 3 nodules and 4 lymphnodes. If it is in the lymphnodes the treatment will be the I131 pill and 4 to 5 days in the hospital and a stint of radiation.
IIf it is just the nodules it will only Be the I131 pill and a hospital stay. This sure has been taking a tole on me.
So Ill be out of a job till maybe May or June.
And Life goes on.

I am sorry to hear the news too Carla.  It seems like you have a handle on it though and I am wishing you well and sending healing energy your way.

Carla, I am so sorry to hear about the cancer, it sounds like you are on top of it though and you will be just fine. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful time anyway though!

My prayers are with you during your treatment and beyond.  I hope you get positive results from the biopsies and find that the cancer did not spread to the lymph nodes.  Hang in there and think positive!
